I'm using the Tom Stacey oboe shaper tip....but as stated already, the gouge actually makes the biggest difference. This shaper tip is quite a bit wider than what i used to use which was the weber 1-C ( i think thats what it was) I've also tried messing around with different dimensions as to where the tip and heart start and found one that works quite well for me.
