As the creator of the site you were talking about a few weeks ago, I'd like to say that I really appreciate all the comments - both positive and negative! The site was designed specifically as a game to reinforce basic/standard oboe fingerings (with a few common alternates) for students and music teachers for whom oboe may not be their primary instrument. I purposefully didn't load it up with all the harmonics because they're so personalized... but it wouldn't hurt to throw a few in there.
Too bad some of you were offended by my motivational messages. The majority of my feedback has been positive, but don't worry - no one offended me here with their own "motivational messages" (my boss isn't firing, Chris P ). Even the parents of my young students have enjoyed them.
I will consider adding some additional alternate fingerings (Chris P), I will make it more friendly to get started (vboboe), and it will now show you the correct basic fingering after you submit your own for each note (Craig M) by clicking on the ** ANSWER ** header.
Thanks again everyone!
