Many good ideas and intentions go a bit astray...
My deceased dad's comments about many things included, " the road to hell is paved with good intentions."
I tried this site and think it was constructed with very good intentions, and someone put a lot of work into it, but went a bit astray with the negative feed back. Although humorous, its a tenuous pedagogical proposition for instructional material at any level.
After 20 years designing computer programs and getting it back in the teeth myself from users, I'd say this site is a short step away from very useful.
If one could just click on the staff for the fingering in question and get the result, it'd be a very useful interface.
For that advice, I'd charge my corporate America clients a lot of $... enough to fund multiple oboes.
For the board, and the love of the oboe, the charge is $ 0.00.
And as another mentor used to say, advice is only really worth what you are willing to pay for it.
