Fingerings are essentially the same, but some special resonnance tricks help as you learn more such as playing high b-flat adding the e-flat key ( some add d and e-flat), using the low b key while playng 2nd octave f# and g, etc.
For me, I just started doing it based on oboe, and eventually studied with a real ehorn player. Things got much better after that. And in fact, very positive things started happening for oboe as a byproduct of ehorn playing.
