Man... strike one with the CIM/Curtis/NEC thing... strike two...

John Ferillo (Boston Symphony) - Was playing on Yamahas, might have gone back to his C series Loree or ghetto style Cabart he loves.
Peter Bowman (St. Louis) - is a "lifer" for Laubins
Ralph Gomberg (Former Boston Symphony Principal) - Laubin
Katherine Needleman (Baltimore Symphony) - Yamaha endorser, on the Yamaha website. From what I hear, she uses one for six months and sells it, and buys another. (Probably discounted price. I heard from another source she has like 12 on storage)
Martin Schuring (Arizona State University) - A Howarth endorser
Tom Stacey (New York Phil) - Laubin lifer
Allan Vogel (L.A. Chamber) - Rigoutat

I'm not sure of people playing marigauxs, although I know they are out there. Fred Korman of the Oregon Symphony played only on Marigauxs for a long time.

If you don't know what you're talking about, you might want to keep your mouth shut until you do your research.

By the way, I DO have a Royale, with a very nice ring, scale, tone, etc. But by no means would I say it is better than some marigauxs, laubins, or even Yamaha's that I've tried. The only major brand I would say I really don't enjoy is rigoutat.
