Glad it turned out OK anyway and your nerves of tensile blue steel held up under all the hassle and the strain :-)

... unclear, what considerations made you decide against using your wood oboe outdoors in the first place?

... with all those red and amber warning lights around all the other oboes surely that implied a green light was telling you it'd be A-OK to play your precious wood bobo outside, it would be safe enough ?
