 surface cracks

ACK!!! My new to me oboe (loree royal) has definately got two surface cracks, I swear they were not there yesterday. The top joint still seals for over 15 seconds, are these real cracks?

I have played for almost 40 years on Lorees and have never had a crack...I use humidifiers always but never bore oil. Seems like I should know more about this but I guess I haven't been paying attention. Did a search but it seems most of the advice is about crack prevention, are these probably "pre-cracks" since they don't go through the instrument? I am upping the humidity in the case to try and get things sealed up again.

Of course I am in the middle of nowhere so getting the instrument to a qualified repairperson is a big undertaking, should I send it off in the mail like this?
