 B-C# trill...
Author: Loliver

Hello everybody!

As the title says, I can't work out how to do the middle B-C# trill, without it sounding apocalyptically dreadful...

I only have to use it for one piece, Narcissus from 6 metamorphoses after Ovid by Britten, but its the only trill in the piece that I cant do...

Oh, and its on a dual system oboe...so all the charts on the internet being conservatoire doen't help much...

The ones I do know are:

Thumbplate, first finger LH and use C# trill key - if B is in tune, the 'C#' registers as a VERY sharp C on a tuner, and is incredibly muffly...

...and thats it

So any help would be great :D

Thanks
