Do both, why not?

I would say stick to clarinet as a principal, because there is so much more repertoire out there. But then again, it might be easier to get jobs as an oboist?... ask your teachers about that.

But many really fantastic instrumentalists do several woodwinds and more: then again, these people seem to enjoy doing nothing else than practicing. I would say go with whatever you like to spend more time on.
