I own the Joshua +2, and have used it periodically. Trying it after using the gilbert -1 for a period makes reasonable sense, and would be a natural progression.
The Joshua +2 is NOT more parallel than a Gilbert -1 however, so if you're looking for something more parallel, I'm not sure you'll get it from this shaper tip. The curve of the Joshua +2 ends higher up on the tip and evens out parallel than the Gilbert -1.
