Robert,
Can you share any insights into the sorts of embouchure things Lifschey did and why and how?
I am aware of certain things I do in various registers/ranges, but would love to hear details of Lifschey's techniques.
I work a lot on flute and a gradual change needs to happen from low to high in terms of air stream direction and focus. I try to think about oboe now in those terms, too.
