 Short scrape reed making

Seeking advice from those who do or have made short scrape reeds.

I am currently learning to make long scrape reeds, and have already managed to produce a couple that play. Since I am a short scrape player, I want to transfer these skills onto my own style reeds.

Could someone (or several someones!) give me a brief rundown as to the order/method they scrape, and if you do use particular measurements, what they are?
