Rachel, I am so glad that your plans came through! Here's wishing you an exiciting (but not TOO exiciting . . .) year of exploring and learning.
I second what Craig says -- if you were to come to the Southeast, we would be glad to host you here in Durham, NC. (Craig can vouch for the wine and the food and the accomodations.) And maybe we can rendezvous at the IDRS at Oxford, Ohio (Miami U.) next summer -- that would just be a days' drive from where you are!
