... ah, during a maintenance check today to find out why F# was squawking, screws were discovered easing themselves out and not closing the pad down tight ... it's hooboo gremlins !
... so yes, regular instrument inspections a necessary chore
... and while we're talking maintenance chores, there really oughta-be-a-law that every oboe case is designed with an accessory slot for The Essential Screwdriver (plus the other essentials), some unmentionable oboe models don't have practical cases like that /:-0
