As a player and buyer of 'not the best brands' (per the opinion of others), I have to encourage you to do what fits you best. If it is a good deal, and if it plays well, and if it fits your hands, if the thing plays in tune, and if the sound is more than satisfactory, THEN you will not do better by the price.
I owned a less-good Cor some time ago -- evan played a symphony solo with it -- and had to sell it to support my family. I was sad at the time, but circumstances shifted, and I was able to later purchase a much better instrument.
So gather the best of all the advice, make your decision and trust yourself.
At the least, you will gain experience playing the Cor, and playing the Cor will only help with your oboe-playing.
