 Howarth keep a record of their serial number lists, so contact them (either the London or Worthing shop) and they should be able to let you know exactly when it was made. My kingwood S5 was made in 1995 and has the number 450x (Dimitri Jordanov's blackwood S5 is only a couple of numbers off mine).
 
 LH F and 3rd 8ve keys may have been fitted either at the time it was made (if it was a special order) or added later on - they became standard in the '90s.
 
 The Imperial cor is from around 1973-74.
