Hi,
What affect does the size and shape of a staple have on reed making and on pitch. Could certain sizes and shapes affect either the upper and/or lower registers? For example, oval vs. round ...... small vs. large openings............
One more thing ................ 46mm vs. 47 length - for example - scraping a very light reed for ease of breath - which may be flat on a 47mm and in tune on a 46 mm.
