Instruments with the partially lined top joint will have a letter V engraved into the the body in between the trill key barrels, so look where the area where trill key pad cups are (under the key barrels between the pillars) and you should see this V (or <, > or ^ depending which way you're looking).

So if it has this V, then it has the ebonite lined upper section of the top joint bore, and you should maintain it how you would normally maintain a grenadilla instrument.
