Alto oboe would be better as it's pitched in between the alto flute and alto sax, and the bass (or baritone) oboe should be the tenor oboe as it's pitched a tone higher than a tenor sax (and the same as the C-melody) - though the bass flute should also be called the tenor flute with this in mind. And an oboe d'amore is a mezzo-soprano oboe.
