You didn't get "hammered" (whatever that means) - your post was deleted for specifically violating rules of the BBoard which prohibit mentioning current eBay sales. There is also a prohibition on posts for individuals selling and buying items - there are free Classifieds for that. However, talking about dealers that have items for sale as long as it's not the dealer trying to push their own sales.
We also require that people who have interests in a company to disclose those interests. Otherwise, what might seem to be an unbiased opinion is found to be one whose merits need to be weighed.
The rules are there to prohibit underhandedness on the BBoard. I don't often know who the denizens of these BBoards are "in real life", and there has been misuse, thus the ban.
