Dutchy, I know you're right. It's just like altissimo on the saxophone--the key is not in the fingerings, it's in embouchure, breath support, and reed quality. I have young students who want to know how to finger the "highest note" on the sax and assume they'll be able to get it. I tell them even before they try not be surprised if it doesn't work--it has very little to do with fingerings and everything to do with lips and air control that have been developed over years of playing.
