I agree with cjwright in that it's hard to make any truly ojective statement on this issue. And I doubt we'll get any consensus, either. There are just too many variables that interact with the gouge in determining whether a reed ends up playable or not.
So I could give you my opinion of the Innoledy or any other gouger, but my opinion probably shouldn't be worth much to you, because I'm likely playing on a different oboe, using a different shaper, scraping my reeds differently, and playing with a different sort of embouchure.
You mentioned you already tried some cane with an Innoledy gouge. So, how did it work for YOU?
