these basic fingerings work for me, no 3rd 8ve on my oboe
Hope these abbreviations make sense OK to you
Read from top joint left hand // bottom joint right hand
HI D# (aka Eb)
oXX low B // OXX
(Half hole is rolled open at o, not lifted up)
HI E
1st 8ve oXX LAb+LEb // OXX
HI F
1st 8ve oXO LAb+LEb // OXX
You can also do it with RAb & REb instead of Left pinky on both LAb+LEb
Roll lips down a bit to approximately mid-reed for Hi notes on 1st 8ve key, anything below that usually plays OK in Hi C position -- although this varies from reed to reed
Very Important that you have a well-tuned reed that's *easy* for high notes, and quite stable (not wowwing all over the place), otherwise tuning is more difficult than necessary, and those high notes need very fine-tuning :-)
I find a moderately used (blown-in) reed that's well warmed up first gets high notes easier than a reed just out of wetting-up water and just starting to play
Good luck
