Recently, I tried using lower half from a 1977 r13 with the top from 1965 R13, and vise versa- both "combos" were playable, without any significant tuning issues, even though there were, supposedly, some modifications between 1965 and 1977.

I am not saying that clarinet from eBay is not playable, but to advertise mismatched serial numbers as "a unique feature"...?
