 The Ethnic Clarinet

I'm back playing clarinet after a 20 year break. Started listening to and loving klezmer as well as attempting to play. I have a "C" clarinet, so I got the Kammen Folio No.1 in the violin/mandolin [C] edition, rather than the Bb clarinet/tenor sax edition. An I just making thisng tough for myself, should I ever find a playing partner? Will I end up getting the Bb edition and transpoting in order to play with others?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
