I know some of us were looking at this instrument. Here's a post I just received:

I am posting this for someone who is temporarily off the list...Richard Ramey
From Theresa Delaplain, delaplai@uark.edu
I recently sold my oboe, Loree LA30 Violet Wood Royal. It was NOT stolen. I
have received payment for the instrument, and the sale went according to normal ebay procedures. Since the sale, apparently someone in Germany has taken my information about the instrument and set up a series of scams. The person who bought my instrument is well-respected in the double reed world, and had nothing to do with the scam.

The Ebay listing to which this refers (Item #3750275000) was VERY odd.
Maybe it's still up -- take a look, if you are interested.
