The £6500-ish price is currently quoted on the John Myatt website as a new instrument, to order. The other Loree prices on that site do seem accurate.
On the other hand, an extra £1000 or so over the cost of a Royale cor does seem like a bargain........but then again it's only bit of extra wood and metal over the cor..........hmmmmm
Now, if only Loree, (or Marigaux or Rigoutat) would take my queries seriously and respond we might get somewhere!!
I've e-mailed Fossati for a price and delivery timescale, so let's wait and see.
If not, I'll have to buy .........a Heckelphone (only joking; I already have one mortgage)
