This is very subjective.
I've played on both oboes before.
But it was a Rigoutat Riec and a Marigaux professional model (unclear to me which model at that time). So there was no possible fair comparison.
But anyhow they both did excellently well. Great! might be a better word.
Seconding a rigoutat is good but why not another marigaux? If you are on a budget it will make sense though the price range of both brand's pro models are extremely close.
