The other thing noticeable with the 2nd oboist is his embouchure is clearly different. Where most players keep their chin flat and pointed, his rides up and scrunches up the reed, which would lead me to assume he's playing on one heckova reed (i.e. hard) and biting it up a bit. Ray Still used to do have an embouchure like this. Philly and Cleveland didn't teach this embouchure.
