I am so glad I found this thread today. I have a lesson tonight and was feeling bad about how my new scales (E major & the 3 E minors) were coming out. From about C# on the fingerings are just so complex! I started to worry that I had some kind of learning impairment and just wouldn't ever get them.

My high E's finally began to respond somewhat last night but I wanted to have a cleaner scale for my lesson. At least now I see that it's a common problem for everyone. I'm normal!!! :-)
