Help! Pepperell or Salem Mass

We are looking for some emergency oboe repair for my son's instrument. He owns a Fox-Renard Artist Model. A cork-like substance has come loose and now protrudes slightly from a piece of metal on the bell (the piece of metal that lines up with the lower middle section) such that the bell will not fit on (obviously we don't want to force it). My son tells me that you are not supposed to mess with anything on the oboe at any time if you don't know what your are doing - and we don't.

We will be in the area for another 8 days and would like to get this repaired!
