I'd stick with the ribbon-style reed case, rather than the mandrel-style. The reeds are much more firmly secured in the ribbon-style case.
As for sources, if you want just a basic reed case, check with any good double reed supplier, online or bricks-and-mortar.
If you want something a little more fanciful, there's a person who sells reed cases on The Famous Auction Site -- she makes them from interesting tins and boxes that she finds, and they are usually quite reasonably priced. I've bought several from her, and have found them quite serviceable. She custom-made me some bassoon reed cases to give as gifts, too.
