Do you know if DWK ships personal orders to the US? I was interested in getting a 20 reed case and I do prefer that case, but not the cost and would probably go for wood otherwise.
On the concern for mold growth, most leather cases (like these) are sealed and the only air circulation is between the closure.
I've only seen wood cases with ventilation holes drilled in, but I use a leather 12 reed case with no troubles.
