 Cane Splitting (ob/eh)
Author: Oboehotty

Hi everyone,
I am having major issues with cane splitting. I use a three-way splitter and each time I get the cane prepared to put it in the gouger, the cane is not wide enough (or rather as wide as it should be) to fit snugly in the gouger in order to get the best gouge.

I have tried razor blades and exacto knives without much luck -- too much time. Any suggestions for something that is quick, and accurate and will allow the cane to fit snugly in the gouger bed?

Thanks,
Shawn
