 Re: Covey oboes

On two seperate occasions, I have tried two or three Covey's against some AK Lorees, some Loree Royals, Fossati's, and Howarth.

consistently, I was very impressed, or rather blown away by the Covey. I would have to say "I loved the Covey!".

Needless to say i think they are great instruments and have a unique character of sound that is all to themselves. Very smooth, free blowing yet with enough resistance needed to have something to "push against" and just the sweetest sound I have heard in a long time.

Hope this helps
Shawn
