... well, that would put it into an emotive framework indeed, what do you think of Gordon Hunt's playing style as say, compared to the American style?
... just played the Albinoni concerti CD (Naxos) again this afternoon, and generally find all of G min Op 9 #8 attractive too, but think my fave adagio (though only by a reed shaving) is the Bb Maj Op 9 #11
... when i first got this recording i didn't think i cared for it much, but it's grown on me a lot, it's very peaceful and helps recharge batteries for another stressful week at my day job (the phone, the phone!)
... and at the moment, it's all beyond my present technical ability, would hate to assault any of these gorgeous pieces with my sound at the moment, i'm endeavoring to persevere with off-color intonation & dipsy air pressure challenges, although beginning to see distant light at end of dark tunnel at last, my winter molasses fingers are beginning to flow a bit better now in Aflat no less :-)
