Lorée makes plastic top joints, which are said to be as good as or better than their wood ones. Richard Woodhams played one in Philadelphia before switching to Yamaha. They have also made all-plastic instruments, though I don't think they do now, except on special order. There was one on the IDRS "for sale" list for quite a while.

Laubin oboes have a resin lining that prevents cracking. I believe they also line the tone holes, at least on the upper joint.

Fox of course makes its top models in both wood and plastic.

I think Howarth offers its professional model in plastic. They've gotten ecstatic notices on the IDRS list.

Marigaux makes a two-piece upper joint, with the top section available in plastic.

If your main concern is cracking between the two trill keys, Fossati oboes have only one hole, with the pad pierced and the second key piggy-backed on top.
