Michael -- What book are you using?

I have Jay Light's "Oboe Reed Book", which is very clear. If you have any specific questions, and you don't have that book, I could look some things up for you.

I TRIED to make a reed a few months ago, using this book. It looked great, but still needed lots more scraping, because it was like blowing on two popsicle sticks. And when I tried to scrape more, it split right down the middle.

Bummer!
