Not sure...I don't use a Loree mandrel. I know several people using the Stevens copies. Presumably the reason they are cheaper than the others is due to the synthetic cork. I think they come in both brass and silver.

Over the years I have learned that just because a staple is more expensive does not mean it is better than another. I have also learned that the "name" in the staple don't necessarily mean you are getting quality.
