Hi Howard,
I experienced exactly the same thing as you did!
I think I have the same Holliger recording as you do and when I got my hand on the Dittersdorf in G score, I was quite surprised!
Perhaps he really wrote 2 concertos? Or could it be a concerto for another instrument? I heard Holliger playing the Mozart Flute Concerto in G before. Could it be something similar?
