... i liked listening to the virtuoso samples (from old scratchy records!) at www.oboeclassics.com and see there are links to other sites from here to explore later, yes, i remember goosens style, it's there embedded in my childhood listening memories, floating phrases, yes
... also heard samples from a great CD 'Ready Set Blow', perfect listening and play-along morale boost for newbies and intermediate players
... think best action just now is to take everybody's suggestions (Thank you, Thank you) on a check list, go exactly when the spirit moves me, and see what can get hold of locally on serendipity
