A friend has tried to make an American profile for Udo's machine using my reeds, but he came up unsuccessful three times. I've used the K. Xun profiler a bit, but it's got a lot of problems as well and isn't a reliable machine. So far I've tried the Rieger, Pfeiffer, K. Xun, Reeds N Stuff, and Nagamatsu but with no great results, four of the, just take too much out of the center of the tip so that there isn't enough stability and the K Xun has issues such as spreading out the blades with the giant plaque (making the reed leak) and the contour of the tip.
