I think it actually dates from about 1938: It's labeled in English, V. Kohlert's Sons, Graslitz on the front of the bell, with Made in Germany on the back of the bell.
Graslitz was Bohemia before WW1, then Czechoslovakia after. Nazi Germany annexed that area as the Sudetenland in 1938, and it figures that they wouldn't be labeling import instruments in English for a very long time after that...!
