Loliver, I have not taken the grade 5 theory. However, I've been learning it for a few months now and is in the revising stage. I'll probably take the exam in October as it is held at that time. So should I still change to the oboe? I believe in Singapore we use the conservatoire system.

I'll be thinking these few days on which route I'll take the steps. I'm inching more towards the route where I take the degree in clarinet, then try for the oboe in university. However don't take me as a person who wants to switch for disliking the clarinet people, I love it! But the oboe has a slightly higher score for me..
