... not dismayed at all about ohsusan's choice of reed-knife, ANYTHING that works well and efficiently cuts out the dead wood of make-work projects enshrined in Cult Oboe scrapes no skin off our dimpled knees, besides most of that heavy-duty carpentry stuff really enthuses the boys more than the girls (it's a good thing somebody does actually like to do the heavy-duty stuff, eh?)
... so to each her own reed-knife, i'm evaluating options for something more comfortable than the Pisoni one i've got, it's too long overall, both the handle and the blade, making it too clumsy for me to manage skillfully
... still on the look-out for the oboe with my future style in it, student model YOB441 is bridging the gap between reality and dream for now
