I am real! I exist! I play oboe and English horn. There is video to prove it!

Scroll down to "Easter Cantata". Watch the first few seconds. Don't know how it happened, except that this is the ONLY tight shot of the orchestra coordinated with the actual music. And it's ME!! (On the English horn.) (My friend and colleague, clarinetist extraordinaire Marshal McLean, is seated beside me.)

I have watched the whole thing (which you probably, sincerely, don't want to do). Occasionally you hear the oboe or EH, but the videographer and sound guy both kinda abandoned the whole idea of focusing in on the appropriate soloists after this one shot. Must have gotten verklempt by the awesomeness of it all.

Glad I had the first word! And I got paid to do it.
