controversial...
most will say 45 degrees is perfect....
it depends on a lot of things....
most american style reeds will let do good on a low posture...
just look at alex klein..
thats completely different in the case of most short scrapes...
where players must hold higher to compensate the embouchure formations needed...
hold the oboe on the B fingering position, the 2 fingers on this position are the most important fingers in holding and balancing your oboe....
remember not to let the thumb rest go over too further in your thumb...
