I'm in the middle of making a reed - well, coming to the end actually. I'm not all that practised a reed maker, and so I normally need to look at my notes to figure out the solutions to problems; I don't just know things off by heart yet. BUT I have just moved house and all my notes are in a box somewhere! So I'm hoping you good people can help me.
I am scraping a short-ish German-ish style scrape. I can play on the reed now but it feels very tight and strangled. It's not necessarily *hard* though, so I don't want to just scrape randomly. The crow also seems a little high.
What do I do, please?!
