This may be way too obvious, but whenever I am having a problem with the fuzzy buzzies in the "C", I just pull my 3rd octave vent (with the vent puller tool) and give it a good clean-out -- soak it in alcohol or Rain-Ex or some sort of thing like that, clean out the hole, dry it off, and re-insert.
Occluded octave vents and trill keys (and sometimes the half-hole key) are the culprits in about 90% of my sudden tone quality issues.
Another thing to do is just let that particular oboe alone for a few days, and see it whatever it is dries up and goes away. Not really voo-doo, but it sometimes works.
