Re: question #1: For the past year, I've been ordering Rigotti from Heidi Brann at HB oboe reeds and am pretty satisfied with it, it provides nice consistant reeds. With the canadian/US exchange rate and her low(ish) shipping prices (they've gone up in the last months), it's less expensive than buying fom the local double reed shop. Heidi is extremely nice and helpful. So yeah, that's what works best for me at the moment.
